However, the loss of the ship is the main thing. Rey, Kylo, Hux, Finn, Rose, Phasma, BB-8, and a bunch of First Order Stormtroopers and crew all survive and are able to escape. Maybe this is just because they are all main characters, but barely anyone we see dies as a result. Hyperspace ramming simply disabled the ship so the Resistance could get away. This does bring up the question of what happened to DJ. Did we see his ship leaving? Could he have been stuck on the Supremacy? ()
