It’s like people think if Obama had come out early and said, “we must have a public option,” we would have it. Do you really believe that is true? Think long and hard about the makeup of congress and about the difficulties of getting even the tiniest measure passed in it. Do you really think that President could have got us a public option? Because I’m telling you he couldn’t have. That was never his call and it never will be his call or any President’s call. ()
