I swear someone must have written a (L)eyes on me! Shirt it around to these people. You almost always see someone asking why no one just hooked a droid brain and a hyperdrive up to an asteroid. What especially gets me is…this is Star Wars. Are you thinking a droid brain wouldn’t be sacrificing a pilot? Because one of the very first things we establish in the very first film is that droids are sapient. Like the first two characters we meet in the original film are obviously sapient droids. It’s still asking a living, thinking being to act as a kamikaze pilot. Which…like…another good argument is to ask why most militaries do not use kamikaze pilots.
