Terrified of this game. Going to West Lafayette on a Christmas Santa Ho Ho Hold My Beer 3d All Over Print Ugly Christmas Sweater night for a week 1 matchup against a resurging Purdue team that went 9-4 last year and is returning a 6th yr QB. The air attack obviously lost David Bell but it still scares me. Luckily our secondary is the strength of our defense, but we lost a LOT of talent on that side of the ball in general. If we can stifle the Purdue passing game, I think we should be OK as they cannot run the ball. Hopefully we finally get pre-Iowa-injury Clifford back. No Dotson is going to hurt in the passing game but there are big things expected of Parker Washington to fill in those shoes. True freshman RB & 5* recruit Nick Singleton is a bit of a hometown hero for me from Governor Mifflin HS here in PA – excited to watch the start of his (*hopefully*) successful PSU career. The O line, as always, is going to be the biggest question mark of this offense. Ultimately I think depth wins out
