If Minnesota can’t sit on the Best Cat Dad Ever Funny Christmas 3D Sweater 35-40 minutes they can’t win. Penn State is superb in run stoppage and I think that’ll be the point of emphasis defensively. Yetur Gross-Matos is our best defensive linemen. We began experimenting with this the past two games, but once he shifts inside to that DL spot, it creates a lot of problems. With Shelton out, this will happen a lot more which will create some 1-on-1s for Robert Windsor. He will be a handful. You’ll hear his name a lot on the broadcast. Also—PJ Mustipher finally gets to start in place of Shelton. Windsor was the MVP of the Iowa game but PJ was actually the best player. Led the team in total tackles, had a TFL and FF. Wade in run support has been fantastic and Micah looks like he should be in line for another double digit tackle game. Offensively, Minnesota has to choose one. Either they’re shutting the run down or they’re shutting KJ down. I don’t think they can shut it all down. I think them putting the ball in Cliff’s hands actually benefits us, so it’ll be interesting to see what their defensive gameplan is. This feels like the Shorter game. The biggest aspect people probably aren’t talking about is how PSUs special teams has become one of the best and Minnesota’s has been struggling. Their punter has one of the lowest net avgs and they’ve had some really bad hiccups in coverage. kJ hamler has returned two kicks in two weeks but had them called back for penalties. Blake Gillikin has returned back to All-American punter form and Chisena+Hartlaub on coverage have pinned numerous kicks inside the 20. Gillikin has basically won some games over this 3 game stretch and including the Pitt game and Minnesota’s punter has struggled and now has to kick to one of the most dangerous guys in CFB. My guess is that he’ll try to kick away from him which will lead to some shanks and great field position.
